What is the File Directory feature? All we can say is we’re about to make your working day easier! Crugo is excellent for sharing and storing files, you can pretty much share any file type and up to 5GB per file (that’s huge). On your personal dashboard, you can always go back and see the files you have uploaded and the ones that have been shared with you, if you need a re-cap on sharing files, take a look at our help video here.
We have just launched our File Directory feature with the aim to make it easier and much faster to access your files. Let’s take a closer look at how it works and how it can benefit you working day and your team’s productivity.
When you create a new group, you can choose how you would like to display your files in ‘List‘ or ‘Directory‘. You can also change this view in your existing groups at any time.
By choosing File Directory, you’re able to organise and structure your files into separate folders of your choice. As you can see in the top right-hand corner, you can create as many folders as you want.
Just drag or drop a file to upload or click to upload at the bottom of the screen. If you’re not inside a folder when uploading a file, the file won’t go to a specific folder; it will appear below all your folders at the bottom. Just click on the three dots located on the right and select ‘move‘ followed by the folder you want to add the file to.
You can delete files and folders at any time and even move folders into other folders. Think of this as your team’s personal network where you can share and organise your files together.
