Crugo’s Global Search takes into account how busy your working lives can be. We have made it very simple to search through people, groups, files and messages. So whether you use Crugo on your mobile, web or Mac app, you will find a search bar situated in the top right-hand corner of your navigation bar.

OK – let’s take a look. Imagine you want to find something within a conversation you had with a work colleague. Just type their name in the search bar, select their name from the drop-down menu and then type what you’re searching for.

You can also look for someone’s profile. Enter the name of the person and select the option “view user profile.” It will take you straight to their profile, where you can send them a direct message and find their details.

Same goes for groups; you can easily look for anything you have shared within a group. Start by typing the name of the group, select it from the drop-down menu and then follow it with whatever you’re trying to find.

Let’s take this a step further, so you want to search within a specific group and content related to a particular person. Easy! Just search for the group and select it from a drop-down menu and then add the name of that person.

Just looking for a file? No problem, enter the name of the file in the search bar, and any files with that name will appear. And remember you always have the button in the navigation bar “Files” where you can find files you have shared and that have been shared with you.

Still, can’t find what you’re looking for? Check your messages by typing in the search bar words that are related to what you’re trying to find and our global search will collect everything and anything that will help you locate what you’re trying to find.
But wait, we have a few more features that will help you on your search. When using keywords for searching and you can’t remember the exact word, you can search via words with a similar meaning.

For example:  You want to search for the word “fast” it will return results for things that have fast but also quick, rapid and speedy etc ??

One last thing! Do you type fast? No worries our unique search system also takes into account typos, so if you have misspelt a few words, it won’t affect your search.

All members and guests can use our global search feature. Be sure to check out our other Quick Tips for hacks on how you can make your Crugo experience better. You can always ask for help within Crugo by clicking on the Help button in the top right-hand corner on the web and Mac app and on mobile by tapping on your avatar and then Help & Support.
