Grab your teams attention with @mentions on Crugo

Crugo is perfect for streamlining your direct conversations and group threads, but we’ve made it much more efficient.

If you’re in a group chat and you want to get a colleagues attention within the group directly, just put an @ before their name or names. It will auto suggest names, so you will never have to type their full name, you can just select it from the pop-up list. They will be notified and you’ll hopefully get a rapid response from them. You can also see who has read your messages, so if they don’t get back quick enough just drop them a mention!

Happen to have lots of work on but don’t want to mute your notifications or miss important messages? You can change your notification settings and only receive them for when you get mentioned. That way you will get less interruptions but be able to keep in the loop.

You can also mention people within comments. If you upload a file or someone else does, you can start a conversation in the comments section and directly mention team members.

Don’t worry if you don’t have your notifications activated. You won’t miss a group or direct mention, you will see them appear in your sidebar under unseen.

One last thing! Maybe you want to broadcast a group-wide message. Easy! Just type @group and your message will notify all the group members.

We hope this post was helpful and you’re on your way to a more productive work day. For more tips on how to increase your productivity and use Crugo efficiently, just take a look at our Quick Tips section.
